Golf is a second career for Leslie, following a successful career in business. Leslie was a senior executive with ESPN, first as a Director of Integrated Marketing where she spearheaded ESPN’s foray into owned and operated properties, and then as head of marketing at ESPN.com. While in business, she experienced first-hand the value of playing golf for business and ultimately shifted gears into the golf industry with a goal of helping others learn to play golf and to use golf for as a business tool.
Since entering the golf industry in 2002, Leslie has been hired by clients such as Harvard Business School, Goldman Sachs, Barclays, Financial Women’s Association, The Wharton School, 85 Broads, and others, to help train their executives to utilize this invaluable tool. In 2009, she was recruited by the LPGA to serve as the Executive Director of the LPGA Teaching and Club Professionals to develop a new strategic vision and plan for the LPGA teaching division.
Leslie is also the author of Even Par: How Golf Helps Women Gain the Upper Hand in Business, a critically acclaimed first book which quickly established itself as the go-to resource for helping women get “on course” for business.
Leslie grew up in New England and graduated from Wellesley in 1982, where she was a three-sport varsity athlete. She received her MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
